female bashing

We call our country advanced. We call it a developed nation but when we deeply look into certain matters we find out the age old thinking won't get changed at all.Here I can raise many issues but today I am picking up a issue which really still persists in a country like India and the issue is female bashing.Well, here i will be more specific and write about the bashing of daughters by their parents.Why am I not including sons in this.Well cause you should know it is only daughter who is easily beaten.If any parent try to slap the male child, either the child push the parent back or just react in the same way i.e. hit the parent back.I am not particularly talking about kids here.I am talking about the teenagers and the people who have crossed their teen ages.YES! still it happens here! In many homes still children are beaten up without any reason and if there is reason too i strongly oppose the fact that kids should be beaten up. Now take the case of Septa. What does she want? Just the Independence. She wants to find her own ways.Her own path on which she can walk all by herself.But her parents..i mean in the whole world she just don't understand that what her parents want.oh yes.they want her to be puppet for them.But this is really not right.Some days back when they were at home having some serious conversation then her parents beat her that too on a very minor thing.The worst part is that her parents think they are always right whereas this is not true.It is never right to en cage the child. There must be some law for this thing.I know it.But then would any sensible child go to the court against parents? I say never! So, is there any solution for this problem?
